Phase 1: Flexible Skills Development (5 Hours)

Complete Pistol 1 and Pistol 2 classes at your convenience during our regular class schedule. These foundational courses cover essential firearms safety, marksmanship fundamentals, proper stance and grip, sight alignment, trigger control, reloading techniques, and tactical manipulations. Our experienced instructors ensure you master the practical skills necessary for professional armed security work.

Individuals that have been cleared in the group class levels using their active membership at ADI may opt into taking the S&D or 4M class options instead of the Pistol 1 and Pistol 2 class. Those who have not been cleared must take the Pistol 1 and Pistol 2 group classes.

Phase 2: Attorney-Led Certification (3 Hours)

Join us for our comprehensive certification session that no other training center in California can match:

Live Fire Qualification (1 Hour): Complete the official BSIS course of fire with our certified instructors. We maintain 90% accuracy standards (exceeding the 70% minimum) to ensure you’re truly qualified for professional security work.

Advanced Use of Force Simulator Training (1 Hour): Experience realistic scenarios using our cutting-edge 300 simulator technology. Practice decision-making in high-stress situations including active shooter responses, de-escalation scenarios, and use-of-force decisions in a completely safe environment.

Attorney-Led Legal Instruction & Examination (1 Hour): Learn from practicing attorney Steven Lieberman, who specializes in use-of-force law. Receive authoritative instruction on constitutional principles, liability protection, and professional responsibilities that traditional instructors cannot provide. • Prerequisites: current security guard registration

Registration: Limited to 12 students per session to ensure personalized attention and optimal learning environment.

The program requires verification of eligibility, such as proof of citizenship or legal residency, a current security guard (for renewals), and successful completion of the BSIS firearms assessment. Upon passing all components, graduates are eligible to apply for the BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit, authorizing them to work as armed security professionals in California.

Participants will need their own firearm and ammo.
