Home Intruder & Shooting Debrief

On August 26th a home invasion occurred in the early morning hours in Newport Beach.  A husband and wife were sleeping when an individual displaying erratic behavior broke through their front door and changed their lives forever.

The Law Offices of Lieberman and Taormina, LLP were retained by the homeowner after he used deadly force to stop the intruder from attacking he and his wife.

The actions of the homeowner were textbook perfect.  From his preparatory physical defensive strategies, to the tactics used in the encounter, to the legal event following the encounter.

On Monday, October 11th, the Orange County District Attorney’s Office issued a press release that the actions of the homeowner were legally justified.

On December 2nd from 6pm to 9pm, at the Artemis Defense Institute, we will be doing an in-depth debrief of the entire case.  Presenters will include Steven Lieberman, Cosmo Taormina, and the homeowner and his wife as well.
